Project Budget

As part of our effort to be transparent about how Greasepunk Paradise projects are managed, we are sharing our running costs and updating them monthly. The goal is to show potential backers how funds are allocated to the overall project. Although we are a self-funded project right now, we do plan on accepting donations down the road.

 

Until then, our approximate investments to the project are between $1500-$2500 per month depending on what work is actively being done. This means our general operating expenses target is around $2000 each month, but is expected to vary.

 

Our intent is to keep investing in this project until future revenue enables it to become self-sufficient. Every backer dollar we collect goes right back into the project, and will be represented in our published operating expenses. Our goal is not to collect income from this project. Instead, we are building out the Greasepunk Paradise Universe for ourselves and other creators to monetize other products down the road. More details to come on that later.

In addition to our operating expenses, we have also displayed our unspent cash for each month. Unspent cash stays allocated to the project and accumulates into a cash runway for artists and voice actors to have confidence they'll be paid for work not yet invoiced. It ensures people are never waiting on us to receive their compensation, and empowers us to immediately pay for invoices as they are received.​
